Cyrille Taillandier aka T

Upon graduation from the Ecole Superieure de Realisation Audiovisuelle (Paris, France) in 1996, Cyrille Taillandier embarked on his professional journey as an assistant recording engineer. During the following three years, he worked at several distinguished French studios such as Davout, Soft-ADS, Miraval, and Le Manoir. One of the remarkable moments of his early career was his collaboration with the celebrated French band Zebda on their multi-platinum and award-winning album Essence Ordinaire, where he worked as a second engineer alongside producer Nicholas Sansano. The recording process led him to New York, and the city immediately won his heart. In 1999, Cyrille decided to relocate to Brooklyn.

For the next two years, Cyrille worked as a Pro Tools engineer and mix assistant with Tony Maserati on several multi-platinum albums, including Alicia Keys’ Songs in A Minor, P. Diddy’s Forever, and Jennifer Lopez’s On the 6. Since 2001, Cyrille has been an independent audio and Pro Tools engineer. In 2006, he began sharing his knowledge and experience as a teacher at the Clive Davis Department of Recorded Music, Tisch School of the Arts, NYU. The next year, Cyrille joined Drexel's Music Industry Program, where he has been an invaluable member ever since.

Cyrille's impressive resume also includes his recent work on Lenny Kravitz's It is Time for a Love Revolution, Black and White America, and Angelique Kidjo's OYO. Moreover, he initiated a community engagement project at Drexel in 2015 to foster collaborations among artists, students, and music production enthusiasts. In addition, Cyrille continues to create and mix music in his home studio and has recently launched "Mixed by T" as his online platform.
